Franceska Alexander's paintings are inspired by the concerns and challenges of shelter for those within our community. From the time she witnessed families living in cardboard structures in Tijuana Mexico at age seven, her awareness of the inequities of housing has struck her as an inalienable right for all humanity.
There is something terribly vulnerable when one is without a home. So, as an inspired artist, she has been moved for years to paint whimsical houses as it helps her process the challenges we face with housing at this time in our culture. Franceska hopes that the sale of her art brings an awareness for those who still need
a place to call home.
